The following group of C.A Technologies Spray Guns are set-up for the professional drywall and/or painting and decorating job. All of these guns are conventional air spray technology with most gun set-ups utilizing Internal Mix (PI) atomization for low air consumption and low over-spray. The principle behind Internal Mix is the air (Pressure Internal PI) atomizes the coating inside the air cap. The air volume requirements for these guns range from 8 CFM to 14 CFM. Where as External Mix (Pressure External-PE) atomizes the coating as the coating exits the gun orifice.

Any of these guns can be supplied with a pressure pot, diaphragm pump, or Black-Cat portable spray rig. Because the decorating coatings listed above are high viscosity these guns are the Pressure Feed type. Requiring a minimum 3/8" I.D., or 1/2" fluid hose, and 5/16" or 3/8" I.D. air hose depending on CFM and length of hose.

Typical fluid pressure range is 20 to 50 psi, with typical air atomization pressure range of 25 to 65 psi. When set-up with internal mix always have the air pressure 7 psi higher that the fluid pressure. So as not to have fluid entering into the internal air passages of the gun.

Use the spray Gun Matrix below to choose a gun and set-up for your application. Than add a diaphragm Pump, Pressure Pot, or Black-Cat portable rig with a set of hoses.

Both the Lynx and Panther Gun have 100% Stainless Steel Fluid Passages, not "Stainless Fitted" as most guns. You will likely find the "Stainless Fitted" guns with the internal portion of the gun head aluminum, which can corrode from waterbase coatings such as latex. The difference between the Lynx and Panther is, the Panther gun exterior is Teflon coated for easier clean up. Where as the Lynx gun exterior is anodized aluminum.
