       Re: Prohibition Against Internet Sales of SATA Products

Experience has proven that the quality service associated with the SATA brand cannot be provided by internet sellers, who can operate from anywhere in the U.S. or the rest of the world. In order to ensure that the users of SATA products cantinue to enjoy a high level of local service, and continue to associate SATA products with that service, SATA Germany and Dan-Am have implemented a policy prohibiting the sale of SATA products on the internet. Dan-Am may authorize certain dealers of SATA products to provide information about the performance and use of the products on their web sites, but pricing information, delivery information, or any other information related to the sale of SATA products will not be allowed to appear on the internet. SATA distributors have been instructed to refuse to sell to customers who violate this policy against internet sales.
