Check out the NEW Finish Systems Exclusive 2.5 gallon resin casting (mold) pressure tank from C.A. Technologies! The tank lid has been reconfigured for a simple and sleek design that has less clutter and is more tailored to a resin casting application. All unneeded fittings have been removed for a straight forward, simple approach to using the pressure tank which is perfect for beginners and veterans to resin casting. This non-ASME pressure tank comes configured with a single air pressure regulator with ball valve below and the pickup tube and fluid outlet fittings have been removed. The resin pressure pot is constructed of a heavy gauge steel with wheels for maneuverability or optional stationary feet. (Replaces previous tank versions 51-201C and AFS-1630). Other resin casting tanks available in 5, 10, 15 and 20 gallon sizes.

Set-up Information:

When installing quick disconnect fitting, apply an anaerobic sealant which will harden overnight without the presence of air. Cross tighten lid wing nuts with a 12" adjustable wrench to insure the lid seal is holding pressure. It is hard to provide a pot with reliefs, regulator, and ball valves without some minor air leak. To compensate for a minor air leak, keep your compressed air supply hooked up to pot during your casting process.

Please note that additional fittings may be needed to connect the resin casting tank to a compressor. The fittings can be sourced locally or you can reference our Fittings Kit item number AFS-1593.
