Design:
The fitting consists of two precision-machined components: a socket (outer shell) and a nipple/insert (inner piece). This two-piece construction ensures a strong mechanical connection and consistent sealing performance.

Installation:
During assembly, the socket is screwed onto the hose—typically using a left-hand thread—followed by threading the nipple into the socket. As the nipple (Allen head) is tightened, it compresses the hose wall between the components, creating a secure, high-pressure seal without damaging the hose reinforcement.
