How to Choose the Right Compressed Air Piping System

Compressed air systems have come a long way in recent years and there are many more efficient ways to provide compressed air in an industrial, automotive or home garage shop than ever before.  What can be difficult is trying to figure out the best compressed air products to use to make your vision a reality.  RapidAir has some great products to help make selecting the right product for any application very simple and cost effective.  The three product lines that we will explore in more detail are the FastPipe, MaxLine and RapidAir Home Garage systems.  We will discuss the right application for each as well as looking at the features and benefits of these systems.

FastPipe by RapidAir

Make Installation a Breeze with FastPipe Modular Aluminum Compressed Air Piping

FastPipe is today’s improved compressed air piping method that can be installed by one person, without any expensive tools, and connect to any existing piping system. Its long, straight blue aluminum pipe can be mounted on ceilings and inside or outside walls.

Other systems, like PVC, copper, and black iron, leak 8-10% of air through threaded connections, which taxes your compressor and adds to your utility bill. But our FastPipe blue aluminum compressed air pipe connects perfectly through compression fittings. Sealed connections mean your compressor run time is less. The smooth inner wall and free flowing fittings also lower your compressed air costs.

RapidAir’s FastPipe compressed blue aluminum air piping is lightweight, making it easy to cut and lift. It is available in 3/4”, 1”, 1-1/2”, 2”, 3”, 4”, and 6” pipes and can be joined with our MaxLine system through blue air pipe thread adapter fittings. Pipe lengths include 19 ft 8 in and 7 ft 6 in options with 190 psi max pressure for compressed air and inert gas as well as up to a 29 in hg vacuum.

The FastPipe compressed air system is ideal for industrial plants, manufacturing facilities, small businesses, auto shops, heavy truck repair, and more.

When you need the best, most efficient compressed blue airline pipe at the best price, choose the FastPipe system.

Choose FastPipe Aluminum Compressed Air System For:

  • Straight blue air line pipe, running with minimal obstructions
  • A professional look
  • Multiple air users
  • Installing on wall or hanging from a ceiling
  • Operating heavy duty tools

 MaxLine by RapidAir

Get Leak-Proof Performance with MaxLine Industrial Semi-Flexible Compressed Air Tubing

MaxLine is an industrial compressed air piping system that installs in half the time of traditional methods. It is a semi flexible tubing that comes in a 100 ft or 300 ft coil and uses compression fittings for leak proof performance. It delivers clean compressed air (200 psi max), inert gas (200 psi max) and vacuum (up to 29 in hg).  The available sizes include ½”, ¾”, 1” and 2” and the semi flexible tubing comes in lengths of 25 ft, 50 ft, 100 ft and 300 ft rolls for ½” thru 1” sizes and 100 ft and 200 ft rolls for the 2” size.

MaxLine flexible tubing is made of several layers: the inner and outer layer are HDPE and the center layer is aluminum. Its smooth inner surface delivers air efficiently and remains corrosion free for decades. It will maintain its shape after bending, which makes it ideal for layouts with many obstructions and corners.

Maxline piping is designed for efficient installation in diverse settings, from small shops and farms to large manufacturing facilities. We understand that each set-up will have unique needs, and we don’t believe in one-size-fits-all solutions. You can trust RapidAir to offer the most options and the highest quality products. Our team is equipped with the knowledge to help you find the best system for your needs, and we carry a wide range of products to help you find the right setup.

Choose MaxLine Semi-flexible Compressed Air System For:

  • A layout that involves many obstructions or corners
  • Long continuous piping lengths
  • Underground direct burial of the piping
  • Installing in wall or on wall
  • A lower cost option than FastPipe
